Primark has reported about £0.7bn in net profits on revenues of close to £6bn in its 2016 full year report. The company has single-mindedly focused on building its store portfolio and remains one of the last high-street retailers in the UK without a transactional e-commerce website. This has been the only exit in an industry plagued by high levels of returns and controversy (JustFab Inc subscription methods).
